I had to wait for this item to be restocked but it was well worth the wait. This is far and away the best desk lamp I have ever owned and in recent years we have purchased at least twenty. It gives out more light than the others and is easy to turn off and on. It adjusts easily to different angles without ever tipping over. I highly recommend it.

My old lamp died, finally thank heaven, it was always slipping. But this new one is great. The neck bends any level you want and there are no screws or knobs to tighten it and slip later. Just bend and go. The base is larger than I thought, about 8 x 9 oval, and very nice on the desk. Well balanced and sturdy. Has a nice big button right on top of the base, easy to find in the dim or dark. I researched a new desk lamp and am glad I settle on this one.
