I really like this lamp. It came well packaged and is quite pretty. Also very tall, as promised, which was exactly what I needed so that enough light would come from the end table over the arm of the sofa and onto the couch where I like to sit and read. I especially love having so many choices for the lighting lighting--the main (100watt) bulb turns on or off independent of the others, and the 3 smaller lights (40 watt bulbs, standard base, not small) also work as one individual, two together or three together--plus the main bulb. This gives great versatility for lighting--dim for "atmosphere" or watching television in a somewhat darkened room or very bright for reading (the shade as you see, is well positioned to cast the light in a wide arc, not cut off as with many table lamps. I really liked it--and it looks just like the picture, imo, like a bronze base even though it is actually plaster (I'm sure necessary to keep it at this reasonable price). Very happy with it. 5 stars. (Only one possible negative: I don't think the new style of lightbulbs--the curved low-wattage conservation ones--would work with this lamp. But if you use the bulbs it requires, it works, imo, very very well.)

The lamp came quickly. Although well packed the top of the lamp does not screw on correctly, leaving the shade to look a little lopsided. The lamp itself is beautiful.
