Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I love this lamp! It's so pretty and puts off such a nice warm glow that it is the perfect lamp for any bedside. It comes well packed and it's very easy to put together. It also comes with an energy saver bulb as an extra bonus! I noticed one reviewer said that only one drawer opened all of the way, but on mine, both drawers open just fine and you can completely pull them out. The top one could hold maybe a mini perfume or a lip gloss and some coins. The bottom one is actually sort of roomy and could hold lots of little things. The lamp seems durable and well made. It's a lovely addition to my room.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I got this for my 12 year old niece. One problem was that the shade was "dented" on one side most likely from shipping. However, my resourceful sister (niece's mother) gently took a hair dryer to it and solved that problem (the inner shade lining is made of plastic). I let my sister and my niece try to assemble it themselves. They had just a little problem properly snaking the electrical cord through the base, but otherwise it was straightforward. So, just a little mechanical aptitude would be helpful during assembly.

It looks good, everything fit well enough (the lampshade was tilted a little, but that should be easy to adjust), and I'm sure the two drawers are perfect for hiding away favorite items.

I think this would make a great "just because you're you" gift for any young girl.

The lamp comes in a box and some light assembly is necessary. Assembly is very easy and intuitive but be warned that it doesn't correspond to the assembly instructions included with the lamp (which shows extra parts).

You'll need to be extra careful removing the plastic overwrap from the lamp shade. While doing so, I accidentally put a "dent" in the shade, which is listed as a "TC Fabric Shade." TC stands for Tetron Cotton, essentially 65% polyester and 35% rayon. The shade feels more like a rigid paper than fabric, which is why I was able to accidentally put a dent in it.

I was pleased they included a 60-watt equivalent CFL bulb with the lamp. When the lamp is assembled and the bulb installed, the lamp seems nice and bright. I was also pleased to find an inline on/off switch.

The base of the lamp contains two little drawers that slide out. That extra tiny bit of storage was put to good use in my case.

Overall, I like the quality of this lamp. It is sturdy and well made. My granddaughter loves it. I wish the shade was a softer fabric, like a normal / typical lamp shade, but it is fine as long as you don't mash it when removing it from the box or assembling the lamp.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This lamp is very pretty and gives just the right illumination. The energy-saving bulb (which is included) is equivalent to a 60 watt bulb. You have to assemble it but it was easy to do so. Just a matter of screwing the parts together. The on/off switch is in the cord. The pink and purple is a beautiful combination. The jewelry drawers open. The bottom drawer is removable however the top drawer does not come out. It opens only partially. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the quality of this lamp.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This little lamp comes well packaged and is easy to assemble. It looks just like the picture. It comes with a cfl bulb. The shade softens the light yet lets much of it through. It is very attractive when lit. My only concern is that the ac cord is fixed in the base and at the light socket. This means that the cord gets twisted and stays twisted 5 or 6 times around while screwing the socket to the base. It's probably nothing to worry about, twisting the cord like that.
