Overall impression: a well-made, attractive lamp.

Details: First, the lampshade panels are NOT made of mica; they're plastic. It's very, very good plastic, and looks a lot like mica, but it's still plastic. It's not quite the same as real mica. (Note: the lampshade frame is made of metal.) Having said that, the lamp is well-made, the glow from the lights thru the shade is an attractive amber glow. The shade is open at the bottom, so it makes a good reading lamp for someone sitting in a chair next to it. The shade sits low enough so that if I am sitting on my sofa across from the lamp, I can't see the lightbulbs. Would be better if the light sockets were 3-way, but a handy guy could probably change those out without much trouble.

All-in-all, I'm happy with it. Looks good, well-made and functional.

My fault, no where did it list height of lamp, but it is only 5 ft tall and I expected 6+ feet, I like the way it looks but is too short for my living room where I had planned to use it...

Please list accurate dimensions, please!!!

Product description is wrong. The product lists the material as glass. There is no glass on this product. The shade is cheap, flimsy plastic with a translucent square pattern that looks like it was applied with an ink jet printer. Made the decision to return it before I was finished getting it out of the box.

My only complaint would be that the "mica" is not real mica. However, it's a nice looking lamp. Super well packed when it arrived.

This is a beautifully-made, all-metal lamp. Easy to assemble, well-packaged, great switchgear for each of the two lamp sockets. Casts a soft, warm, glowing light. Elegantly simple design, same height as other brand floor lamps which is perfect for chairside reading or for room ambiance. Highly recommended.
