I was hoping for a lamp in the color shown and that had better quality than this lamp turned out to have. The color is NOT as shown and the shade was crushed due to inadequate packing for shipment and it is cheaply made.

The lamp I received was a much lighter than the picture and the shade much darker (more of a "natural" linen color). Still worked for me though, they packed it well so the shade stayed perfect and it was delivered earlier than expected.

This lamp is large and attractive, and seems to be well-made. I was a bit disappointed that the base was considerably lighter in color, and more transparent than the rich and deep hue shown in the picture.

I had purchased two other lamps for my bedroom from a local store. The color was just not right. I saw these on Amazon and decided to take a chance and order them. I love them! The color is so pretty and the shades are more of a linen color not white, like pictured . . . but that worked better for me!

Lamp color is brighter than it looks in a picture. Wish it were darker than it actually is picture was misleading.
