This lamp is not a traditional Tiffany, but it's so cool and perfect for my generation.

It looks great in my house, which has a very eclectic interior. The quality of the construction is very good and the glass is really pretty in person. It is actually iridescent. I get a lot of compliments on it, from my "edgy" friends AND from my more conservative family. It's definitely worth the money to get something that's of a higher quality.

The lamp itself is beautiful and attractive. On appearance and quality, I would give it five stars. The one star downgrade comes because assembly was not easy and the lousy instructions (mostly a diagram) didn't help. Now how difficult can it be to stick a shade on top of a lamp? Easy, right? Well, no. There was no way to screw the finial onto the top without leaving an obvious gap of about one-eighth inch. I'm convinced that Quoizel failed to include a spacing washer of some type. I finally used a couple of my own washers to raise the shade enough so that the finial screwed down tightly. But, that was after about thirty minutes of messing about trying various configurations and cursing the lousy instructions!

I love this lamp....however, there were no instructions included in the package. Normally, no big deal but there were maybe 6-7 assorted bolts/washers and it turned into a trial and error project to see which sequence fit best. This was complicated by the fact that the bolt didn't seem to be 'threaded' quite right. It had a rough spot that prevented easy marriage of the asst bolts.....In the end, something that should have taken 10 minutes tops took me about a half hour so no real big deal....Definitely worth the purchase in the end!
