While the picture is very accurate to the lamp, I was disappointed on a web search to only find the same picture repeat over and over. To my surprise when I received it, it's not round! It is oval from the top view and parabolic from the side view. VERY interesting to look at.
So, I posted some pictures of my own which help to show the 3D shape of this lamp. I hope this helps other buyers.
This lamp takes two candelabra bulbs up to 60W incandescent. I am using two soft white 5W LED bulbs which produce equivalent light output between 25W and 40W, just about perfect.
The dangling beads reflect light with a deep amber reflection. Each is suspended on a small metal chain. Two of the beads were missing on mine, but this does not detract from the light's beauty.
The shade has a "sticky" feel to it and has a small bit of a petroleum odor. I suppose this is from the soldering residue and I saw from an internet search this is typical.
The switch is in the cord, about 8 inches away from the base. It's the typical roller wheel clicky.
The light is beautiful and matches my relatively dark office environment perfectly. I'm glad I bought it.
