This is a stunning lamp, and I was entirely pleased with it. It arrived in flawless condition. The shade is beautiful and has a wonderful texture. The base has a nightlight. It looks beautiful in my living room, and matches my mission end table completely. HOWEVER, the manufacturer has included a warning to inform the customer this lamp contains lead, which has been know to cause cancer and birth defects. After on-line research regarding lead toxicity, I am fairly confident in this product's safety, and I intend to purchase another one to add symmetry and balance to my living room.

These are such beautiful lamps and they set off my Mission Style Furniture. I have to give them five stars. The lamp is easy to set up and give a great touch to your home. Over look the negatives from other reviews. I take some reviews with a grain of salt and look my self.

If you live in the Midwest or further East be warned. If you purchase an item from Lamps Plus, you will pay a shipping fee of at least $20-$25. I was not satisfied with the look of the lamp in it's designated place, or very impressed with the overall quality. I was told to ship the return via UPS or Fedex, and was charged $55. Good case for buy local!
