I was shopping for a very specific bedside table with lamp and had a small space to work with. This lamp was perfect! It was relatively easy to put together and it looked great. The glass is thick and I doubt it will chip easily, if at all. The base is heavy and sturdy and holds the table/lamp upright without wobbling. The only issue I had was when I took everything out of the packaging, the bottomside of the base looked slightly worn/used as if it had been somewhere not clean and it had been dragged along an uneven surface. But since I set it up, it's been great with no issues. It has capability for a 3 setting lightbulb but I put a regular eco-friendly bulb in it so it only can be on/off. Overall, very happy with this.This lamp is beautiful and well constructed. The base is nice and heavy. It took a bit of finagling to assemble but it was totally worth it.
