Unlike a lot of mass-production products these days, this lamp has quality to it, which you observe right out of the box: tubing, edges, threading all feel and fit very well. To those who are looking at the "meshy" lampshade a WARNING: the outer metal layer is accompanied by a thin plastic-like white internal lining, so, in fact, the light from the lamp has to come through not only the metal mesh but also the plastic screen, which reduces the luminosity dramatically.
This lamp has little utility as a "light bringer" unless you install it in the bedroom but is very pleasing to the eye as an element of decor.

Bought this with the floor lamp. Very happy with the purchase. Lamp is well made and fits very well in our contemporary decor, lighting is diffuse and ambient. Would definitely recommend it. Delivery was very prompt.
