Very fast Shipping from Amazon!! I received the light fixture in 3 days!!! It was a rather large box, but the packaging protected the fixture perfectly. The two bulbs ARE installed in the fixture. The installation was simple and straightforward. "Leveling" the fixture was simple thanks to the one-way adjuster incorporated in the power side mounting cover. The lamp was installed over a workbench in the garage and provides excellent light for detail work. The `daylight' bulbs are bright and the color fits in with the show cars parked in the garage.

After much confusion over this order I must admit that Stack and Stack went up and beyond what you would normally expect to correct the shipping error. I am very impressed with their commitment to being an A+ Amazon provider.

This ceiling lamp is great for office settings. I only wish it was made in a shorter length.

I purchased this hanging light because I wanted a stylish fluorescent light fixture to mount above our kitchen island. After reviewing several products from other manufacturers (American Fluorescent, Lithonia Lighting) I decided on this Lite Source "Bellini" hanging light.

PROS :

Stylish silver grey aluminum housing

Acceptable light output, even though it uses only two 28W T5/G5 fluorescent tubes

CONS :

Product description is incomplete and confusing :

. no mention that the attachment points for the two cables can be moved on the lamp to any position which is a very nice feature

. I think the "clear acrylic shade" is the mirror like reflector above the fluorescent tubes, the "diffusing grid" are the lamp covers with their ribs

Instruction sheet is incomplete and not very well written :

. no mention how to route and secure cable on the power side of the lamp

. no mention how to remove lamp covers without risking to damage them

. no mention that the blue cellophane foil covering the interior reflector needs to be removed with the plastic foam pieces that protect the fluorescent bulbs during shipping

Lamp covers are very difficult to remove because they fit very tightly; they have to be carefully pried out. These should have been designed with spring locks that can be squeezed for removal. As a result, it is very difficult to change fluorescent tubes when lamp is hung in place; this may require a second person to hold lamp and turn it sideways so one can remover the lamp covers.

Worst feature : attachment point for the cable on the power supply side cannot be moved close enough to the power wire coming out of the lamp (as shown on the illustration) because of two screw heads in the channel. I had to disassemble the lamp on that side to remove the two screws, slide the attachment point for the cable, and then carefully insert the two screws again

All in all : a stylish hanging lamp, although pricey, that is in need of some detailed improvements

One more thing : amazon.com description of this product states that the two fluorescent tubes are not included when in fact the lamp comes with them installed.

Great over the counter modern fixture. Not a lot of light but perfect for a table or work bench. Would like a little bit brighter bulb, I have to check into that and see if we can put in a stronger one.
