The lamp was slightly shorter than I had anticipated and the lamp shade has a checked pattern in it which I couldn't tell from the picture on the internet, but I absolutely love it. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I really like this floor lamp. The shade has a pattern to it to give it a different look other than the typical plain shade. The only thing that bothered me a little, it is shorter than most floor lamps. You will have to pair it with some furnture. It looks out of place standing alone.
