The model that I received is not exactly as shown in the picture. The picture shows a telescoping rod coming down from the ceiling that can set at practically any height. The one I received has several different extensions to choose between, so you are limited to adding 8" or 12" (or both) to the length at which the fixture hangs down from the ceiling. It's not bad, but it's not as shown and I would rather have the telescoping option.

We just bought our first house and were looking to replace all the 80s era lighting fixtures to modernize the place. This island light was a perfect fit for our dining room. Provides great lighting and atmosphere.
We also purchased a Philips 37481/30/48 for the kitchen which also looks awesome. It would've been nice if this light had come with a similar frosted glass piece to cover the bottom but that is a minor complaint.

This product was exactly what we wanted & is Very pretty up, However the top was damaged real bad the 1st time it shipped, we got a replacement, & still the top was just SLIGHTLY scratched & damaged, so we just decided to deal with it instead of sending it back a 3rd time. Not very bright either, but the look is great.
