The lamp is exactly as described and looks absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend it for its quality, appearance, and over all value. The only changes I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to move the on / off knob to the back of the base because it is too high up inside the lamp shade area and I would make it a dimmer style knob to control the amount of light in the base.
Would purchase this lamp again.

Beautiful lamp, as a matter of fact I ordered one and liked it so much that I ordered another one. Great for night light.
