Review of Philips 37484/30/48 Roomstylers Portable Table Lamp, Black

I was looking for a lamp that was short to put on a small entry table. This one is just the right height and the opaque glass above and below the shade is a nice feature that allows it to shed light without glare. The bottom stainless steel disk stand is very stable, although I wish it was a bit more stylish. The switch is inline in the cord, which is also not my favorite. Overall, though, I'm very pleased. Very sharp looking and just the right height for this application. I've noticed that I keep scanning stores for an alternative lamp so maybe I'm not totally enthralled but in 6 months I haven't found anything that I like more and that I'm willing to pay for.

This lamp came in, I set it up and am very pleased. In fact this lamp is beyond my expectations! Philips products, as usual, are unparalleled in quality. This lamp is well made and the finished alluminum base is well finished and sturdy. The glass is excellent and heavy and the fabric on the shade is fantastic. Great accent light and with Philips lamps emits a soothing plesant light. Premium lamp, thanks Philips and Amazon!
