The Lightblade 1500 has far exceeded my expectations. I spent months and months searching for a new desk lamp--with no luck. I purchased two or three other lamps but ended up returning them because the quality of light was very poor. With the Lightblade, I found a desk lamp that creates very high quality light that is very easy on the eyes while reading or working on the computer. Even better, because the lamp has controls for brights and color temperature, I can customize the light that comes from the lamp. I highly recommend this product.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase for my home office. I am very particular with lighting, and have been searching for a good work-study lamp for awhile. After searching Amazon and many other websites I purchased the Lightblade 1500. I was not familiar with the Lumiy name brand, so I was a little hesitant, however I liked the modern design and the variable control options. I have been using this lamp for over 8 hours a day for the past three weeks. The lamp provides a bright study mode without glare. The light spectrum is broad enough that with a touch it can adjust to three other modes which varies to avoid eye strain during different times of the day and night. The lamp can fold down to the base and fits on to my desk without being obtrusive.

I've had my Lightblade 1500 for a few weeks and it's perfect for what I need. I like the dimming features as well as the bi-color temperature options. The light output is very bright but soft...and of course can be dimmed to suit your eyes. The touch controls are built into the heavy base and not on the neck like some of the other competitors. This results in less stress and movement on the lamp neck. I do wish the neck could tilt both ways to prevent breakage if the lamp gets mishandled. That aside...I really like the Lightblade 1500's performance and style. It's a bit pricier than some of the other options....but it also packs more features and better looks into a sleek product. I'm also impressed with the customer service from the company. I received an email shortly after receipt of the lamp asking if the unit arrived properly with no issues. I look forward to seeing new products from Lumiy in the future.

I have been using this for late night studies and book reading and found the light to be pleasing to eyes. I have used some other lights, usually they put strain on a long run. I would definitely recommend this!

I bought this lamp as a replacement for the old lamp with incandescent bulb. The brightness is fantastic, and I love the fact that there is an USB port for charging my iPhone. It is stylish, looks great, and I would definitely recommend it.
