This lamp is nicer than pictured. It is a bit shorter and the shade a bit narrower then I had in my minds eye, but the dimensions given are accurate. It fits beautifully on the night table even though my mattress is higher than average. The base of the lamp is actually glass, which is not described or obvious in the picture. It makes it even more beautiful. Wonderful detailing, you will not be disappointed.
