The Page by Page Lamp is one of the best novelty items you can buy for the price. It seems pedestrian a lamp in a book but when have you ever seen something like this before? The lamp comes with two color filters, five pages of drawings, and five blank pages for your own indulgences. The light can be stood up or hung up and looks great. It really brings a nice hue into the room and can lighten up the atmosphere. There was a lot of ingenuity used to build the lamp; instead of using a lever, you can turn the light on and off by pushing it in. The light is strong and seems to be very durable. I really enjoy the lamp because it is creative and novel. In my opinion, it would serve as a palatable gift for others.

A few things to note:

The second page has instructions (12 pages overall; 1 for cover page, 1 for instructions, 5 for graphics, 5 for drawings). I skipped over it and was confused for a bit. I thought I broke the light but I just pressed the lamp by mistake and it clicked off.

It doesn't come with a wall adapter but I just use my iPhone one (I have a spare one).

The filter to change the color for the lamp doesn't fit perfectly and annoys me at times. However, it is still suitable for changing the color if you don't stare at it all day like me.

Edit: I actually didn't read the instructions properly (twice now). The filter mentioned above needs to be inserted in a thick back page to stay in place rather than being tucked in behind the light. Whoops.

I really liked this product. When I ordered it, I showed it to my dad and he was duly intrigued by it. He thought it was pretty cool I have to admit that he's right.

The lamp in itself is an interesting idea, but nothing more than a bookshelf novelty. As noted by other reviewers, it doesn't come with a USB adapter to plug it into, and the lampshade is lacking in the design area. The lampshade doesn't fit behind the actual light, and if it is put behind the other pages it droops awkwardly. Overall it's an interesting idea but falls short of being something that I would want to buy.

This product makes absolutely no sense. I was given a free "lamp" by the manufacturer in exchange for an Amazon review. Thanks but no thanks. The package included a large notebook and a usb cord. There was suppose to be an AC adapter in the box but there wasn't, in other words, there was no way to use it. I used one from another electronic I had and then I plugged in the lamp waiting for something spectacular to happen. That is when the disappointment set in. I became depressed because this awesome lamp I waited for was just a notebook with a light on it. The "lamp" gives off no light and the pages are really stupid. Now I'm pissed.
