This product looks very nice in our new home. We have the whole granite counter tops, hard wood floors, perfect ambiance lighting, etc. Our walls are painted a dark forest green color, and this lamp just fits perfectly with the house! It's very heavy and durable too. It's not some cheap plastic lamp. Not sure what the base is made out of, but it's heavy.
I took 1 star off because I would never pay this much for a lamp, at least what Amazon is asking for. I found a company selling a "used" one here on Amazon for literally 70% off. Without that discount, I never would have bought it.I love the lamps! The only problem was a few spots on the black shades had areas that were not black, otherwise they were really nice and heavy.
