This may not be for everyone, but it is perfect for me. I am a retired fighter/commercial pilot. The "man cave" with bedroom has recently been finished. Each room has a theme. The bedroom has an early aircraft aviation theme. The window next to the Queen bed has a Roman shade depicting WWI planes and aircraft similar to the ones on the shade. The lamps are placed on each side of the bed with a large F4U-1A Corsair picture, signed by Pappy Boyington, between them. The decor is perfect. The lamp is not heavy duty, but for the price is an excellent value. The bulbs were replaced to give a softer light. I would definitely recommend this light for a child's room or any aviation themed room.

Was for our new grandson, work great with theme in room. Just Love it, was just what my daughter-in-law wanted
