At the time of this review this lamp is 17.99. This lamp has a very short adjustable neck that is 6inches. The opening for the bulb is about 4.5 inches. The cord is 6ft long, but is coiled so you can't get the full use of the 6ft. The clip is strong on and holds tight onto the thin surface I have it on. It does get very hot even with a small 40watt bulb and the neck, in my opinion is too short. Taking that into considering it does put out enough light for the tasks I do and is very portable. I would like to see a longer neck and longer cord for this price. A "fair price" for this quality would be 11.99.

This is a simple light, which is ok, and it does what it is supposed to. It uses a standard bulb which is convenient. However, the clip is plastic and rough at the edges. I had to pad it before I put it on a wooden headboard to avoid scratching the wood. This is very cheap finishing a soft pad would have avoided damage to objects it clips onto and would also help avoid slippage.

The size and configuration of the lamp makes it very versatile. The 6 ft. length of the cord also adds to the usefulness. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it.

This lamp is perfect and takes a regular light bulb or CFL instead of those mini bulbs whhich cost money and burn out faster then you spend your money. Lamp is great.

Is exactly what I needed to clip on my headboard for reading; my one concern is that it gets extremely hot very quickly; dont know if this is a safety issue or not but it is hot to the touch so I certainly wont leave it on long.
