Sometimes an item just looks good. Sometimes they look good and work equally as well. This is one of those items. It sits in my dining room (where a ceiling fan would be out of place) and does it"s thing all day long in total quietness and with a simple elegance. I've had this fan for a long time now, and finally decided to review it. Absolutely no regrets.

I love the lamp. Amazon's email prompted me to give stars and a review, but said I bought the Burgundy one, which I didn't.

Anyway it's a great fan, steady noise which aids sleep, very stylish (fits in with steam punk ish or retro or my theme Indiana Jones meets star wars)

I would mind if it blew air upwards/swiveled, but air only comes out parallel to the ground. It's not super powerful, but nice for having at a bedside.

I rated this product 4 stars mostly due to it's appearance. I love the look. The fan is interesting for a small area. The price was too high to rate it on it's ability to cool a room because it doesn't do all that much. It's more of a sculptural item.
