Review of Greenlite CFL desk lamp - 13 watt, 900 lumens GU24 bulb, with bonus

All metal, nice bright bulb and not too yellow. I have it at work on my desk. Adds some light where the overhead lights don't reach. It's all metal.

It comes in 2 pieces and you have to put a tiny screw in to join them. It comes with the allen wrench. Advice: start the screw in a little by hand, then push the allen wrench into the screw until it pops in, then tighten it down. It's a tight fit, so you'll be wondering why the screw won't turn in unless you seat the wrench into it :-).

The shade tilts upward, I guess in case you want to spotlight something, or use as a work light?

The 2 bonus bulbs are nice, with the cover so you can use in lamps where the shade goes right onto the bulb for example. They are not instant on, but get bright soon. The GU24 bulb for the lamp is instant on.

The adjustments are a little weird..but once you get used to them it's kind of neat.

The angle works better than expected.
