Comes with a white, hard nylon spacer with a wire-slot to go under the base if you don't want to drill a hole for the wire.
Likes:
Very good quality overall.
Very bright.
Thin ring at base lights up red when light is off. Makes it easy to locate in the dark.
At the time of this review, price ($45US) is much lower than other comparable lights.
Dislikes:
Too long to mount on headboard. Will mount on wall nearby instead. Anything 18" is too much in bed.
Nylon spacer diameter much smaller than the lamp base. Would not look right on a desk.The quality of this product is amazing, and it's great for reading or any other task you need a spot light for.
