I love, love, love these. I had first mentioned to my husband that I wanted to put lighted branches in a vase or pot of some sort in our living room and he hated the entire idea. I really liked the warm effect all our Christmas lights had though and wanted to find a way to have that year around so I bought these anyway despite my husband's objections.
And then they came and I set them up and they were even better than I had expected. I like how easily it is to manipulate the branches into whatever shape and configuration you want and the glow is just bright enough. My only complaint was that I got the 39" one and it was much taller than I had expected. A little too tall for on top of a table, in my opinion, and I cringed and waited for my husband to get home and hate it and tell me to take them down. And then he loved it. Like really really loved it. He works until midnight or one in the morning and then stays awake for a few hours. Instead of the ceiling lights, he actually prefers to plug these in.
He never did admit that I was right and he was wrong but I'm willing to let it slide considering how open he is to other decorating ideas I've had that he never would have considered before.
A few extra notes on these lights. I put them in a very tall metal vase and bought some floral foam for fake flowers to put inside to keep the base of the lights steady (but I still haven't gotten around to it four months later because even semi-loose they look great). The lights are on the warm side which I love and even after daily use (for hours at a time) for four months now, all the lights are still going strong. This is definitely a recommend from me.

Last week, I was unplugging these after being on for about four hours when the plug literally fell apart in my hands. The plastic cracked all the way around the edge of the power adapter plug and the inside metal was so hot it burned me.
The way this works is that the lights literally plug into the power adapter which is plugged into the wall. The cord is not built in. So I thought that it must be easy to replace the power adapter so long as the replacement has the proper output voltage and such. I emailed Gerson about this (especially since they have only been used for a little over four months and this is obviously a defect of overheating (the plug is never moved except to plug and unplug and very gently at that)) hoping even if they refused to replace the adapter plug outright they could at least tell me where to purchase a new one seeing as how googling turned up absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, Gerson has not deigned to give me a response, leaving me with still functioning lights that I absolutely love but no way to power them. Since I cannot use them anymore, they are as good as no longer working and so my rating has now reflected the four month lifespan of this product. If the Gerson company had been even slightly helpful in helping me get this product back in working order, I wouldn't have changed the rating from five stars because I do love that product that much. Too bad they obviously don't stand behind the products they put out.
Do not buy this if you are looking for something to last a long time. I purchased a different set made by this same company for a nursery and am now regretting it if it ends up having the same lifespan as this one did. If I had waited a couple of weeks, I would not have chosen to give this company any more of my money.

I puchased the electric version of the 39" lighted branches. They look awesome in my home office. The stems fit perfectly in a 16-18" vase. Warm, Cozy lights greet us when we come up from our basement now! I have these great branchs in a vase with sun flowers for every day look. Then since we live in the basement family room, we wanted a light on up stairs. But I hated to leave the over head lights on.I was worried that these branches would not be strong enough to light up the dark room BUT they did and they are fantastic. They are at the top of the stairs and I adore them! The warmth and security of light just enough with class and not that blaring over head light -as well as being fashionable LOVE IT!!!
Cord I was worried the cord would not fit into the vase. It is long, soft and very thin. So no worries there!!
