I agree with the first reviewer about this brand. After looking at several hundred lamps, I found that I kept coming back to Uttermost products. Their lamps, generally, have an understated style and a touch of elegance that you can't easily find elsewhere for the price. I bought two of these buffet lamps for my nightstands and they arrived today. The lamps are well made, very easy to assemble, and have a rich look about them. The one thing you should be aware of, however, is that the lamps you receive may not be the same color as the photo here. Mine are much closer in color to aqua than they are to the powder blue pictured. I don't know whether it was just the lot from which my lamps came, and I don't mind--much--because they work with what I have, but keep in mind that, if you're looking for a specific color for your room, these lamps may not be quite as blue as they look.

After looking at hundreds and hundreds of lamps online, I found that I was drawn to the style and unique look of the Uttermost lamps. Soon I could tell at a glance which lamps were by Uttermost. They are distinctive, elegant and very rich looking, in a casual kind of way. Clearly they are a cut above the rest. You won't go wrong with Uttermost. I put this one on a Bombay chest in my front hallway with a mirror behind. It's just the right size and sets the right tone.
