It's a great light the only problem I have is the light switch is on the light cord. That makes it a bit inconvenient to operate.

I'm overall very pleased with this lamp for the money. It is very sturdy the base is very heavy/substantial so it doesn't feel like it will tip over easily. The design is very nice. It accommodates a 60-watt equivalent CFL bulb, which is great because it will save me money on electricity. It is however larger than I expected based on the picture (my fault for not internalizing the measurements in the description, which I'm sure are accurate, but nonetheless it seems large for a task lamp). Also it is not very adjustable the only thing that can be adjusted is the angle of the head (right above the shade) .. and it can be adjusted vertically, but not horizontally. Based on the picture it looked to me like the lamp might also be adjustable where the neck meets the main post and then 1/3 of the way down the main post, but these are fixed (the knobs are only decorative). Overall however I am pleased with this purchase. Was a good buy for forty-ish dollars.
