Though this unit was intended for a laptop application, I have instead used this for a script stand in conjunction with a Yamaha M7-48 channel mixing console. Works exceedingly well. With an analogue console the show cuing script can rest on the lesser used controls, but there is no such space on this digital mixer. This arm assembly allows the script to be positioned at a favorable viewing location for the board operator. I am quite pleased with the results.
