I shopped around the net looking for something just like this and the closest thing I could find was by some Italian artist and cost over $900!! For a lamp?? No thanks.

I saw this lamp here on Amazon and then compared prices to other shops online selling the EXACT same lamp. This company has the best price by far. I placed my order and was feeling a bit apprehensive about what would arrive. I received my order right away (about 5 or 6 days total taking into account the weekend) and was pleasantly surprised at my new lamp. It's very pretty!

BUT before you buy this, you should know two things;

1. The lamp does have gold accents that doesn't show up very well in the small photo they have up. I'm not a big fan of gold and it's not really part of my decor but it's ok, I still love it.

2. The lamp shade fabric is actually gold in color, not off-white/ cream colored as the picture shows. The fabric is very sheer though so when it's lit up, it isn't too bad. I just wish they had other colors of shades to choose from.

All in all, I think it was a great purchase. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it. :)

A very nice lamp at an economical price. Would suit as an accent rather than a reading lamp. With a bright bulb the bulb is very visible as the material is quite sheer, but still a very nice look.

The gold accents on the base are a bit much for me, but where it is located in the home the base is not really on display.

Overall I am happy with the purchase of the product and its performance.

The picture of the lamp showed a white colored shade, with what I believed were beads. I instead received a orthopedic shade of beige with no beads. I was totally disappointed but did not want to take the time and effort to return the lamp. I just didn't want to think about it, anymore. The gold painting on parts of the stand make it look cheap,as well.

I got 2 of these for my bedroom and put them on the sides of my bed. (See customer images) They are not super bright but two of them light up my room nicely in the evening, adding a peaceful sort of glow to it. They are perfect reading lamp height for a bed and are definitely bright enough to read next to. I am not over exaggerating when I say every person that has seen them in my room since I put them up a few weeks ago has commented on them. Yes, you need to keep in mind that there is gold detail at the base of the lamp and the light sits lower than on most floor lamps but with the right decor (namely the decor in my room :) ), I think it's wonderful. (again, see pics) Very happy with this purchase!

VERY NICE, STURDY LITTLE FLOOR LAMP, LOOKS GREAT IN A SMALL AREA. IT'S NOT THE BRIGHTEST EVER, BUT GIVES AN INTIMATE GLOW. BRIGHT ENOUGH AS A READING LAMP. STANDS STEADY
