It produces a soft glow in my patio equivalent to that of a full moon light. With about 6 hours of sunlight hitting the cell in the day, the light lasted about 5 hours at night.

I have 2 sconces on my fence that use to hold candles but they wouldn't stay lit for long. I'm using these in place of the candles and they look great.
