I had two antique lamps with an unusually long drop. I thought the shade was measured differently. It's not quite long enough to cover the bulb socket. The quality of the shade is stunning though and the design is also. So I am keeping the shades on the lamps and just setting them on a lower table. Also the color of the shad says vanilla, which I thought would be ecru the actual color is very bright white.

I have a large lamp which took me forever to find the right shade. This shade looks beautiful and fits perfectly. Love it!
