My daughter sent the link to order as a desk lamp and I didnt investigate much. We laughed when opening it up as it ships with a 7.5W bulb and allows a maximum of 15W. I bought this lamp based on reading the reviews. The lamp is pretty; however, the white paint is chipping and even before we used the lamp a big piece of white paint came off and now you see a black plastic. I think the lamp is poor quality. I would not buy it again.
