The wood body of the plane is dried and cracking and was that way when made because it is still blue. The pole of the lamp is really small and light weight. from a distance it is excellent looking and my grandson loves it. But a little pricey for the quality.

The lamp arrived very quickly. It is adorable and well made. The only "issues" I have are that the shade could be of a better quality and the cord should have a switch for those of us who can't reach a higher place.Best Deals for Lite Source 3AP20107 Airplane Lamp
I bought 2 of these lamps, although not on Amazon, a while back. They are fantastic! They move all the way around the lamp base and are sturdily built. The bright colors really perk up a sedate nursery.
