I was looking every where for a clip on lamp.They are hard to find in regular stores. I have used this type of lamp for many years as I love to read in bed and I have a book case head board. My problem was most I saw had very short clips and they do not hold very well and after some time the clip just breaks. Well the problem has been solved!! This lamp is quality and has a substantial clip and I do not forsee any problems with this lamp. My husband and I are so pleased we are going to order our third lamp. I have macular degeneration and need very good light to read by so I have one on my computer desk, one on our head board and will be ordering one to clip to our book case shelve above my head for extremely bright light to read by. Also love the many colors we have one in red one in blue and will be ordering one in ivory. We are very well pleased and recommend this product.

We have tried TONS of these over the last few years. My band uses them to hold color-changing LED bulbs for stage lighting, and these are BY FAR the most solidly built of them all. Firm, useable clips (could be better padded), and solid-feeling switches, with fat, grab-able knobs. Every other version of this simple device we've tried has been garbage that started to fall apart during the first few uses. These have been dropped, bumped and dinged, but still hang on tight, and work perfectly. Don't even look at the others, I have tried most all of them and they are junk. Really.

Cute, compact lamp. I like the convenience of the switch being on the top for easy access. Only thing I would change is to make the gooseneck a little longer for more range of motion.

A good clip on light. I use it on our headboard. If you use an LED light bulb it always stays cool. My only complaint: The spring bracket clamp is made of plastic that wears out in about a year (plastic fatigue???). Replace the cheap-ass plastic with some steel and you'll never buy another. Oh, how do I know they wear out in a year? This latest purchase is my third lamp, exactly the same as the photo including the same color.
