I love this lamp! The antique brass looks expensive, the height is just what I needed and the free bulb was the icing on the cake. The only thing I was worried about was that it uses only fluorescent bulbs and my past experience with these bulbs wasn't too impressive...but I was pleasantly surprised how bright this bulb was. Perfect. Plus the price was right too so I am very happy.

I've had this lamp for a few months. It works fine and looks good. I expect to have years of service from it. I'm not crazy about having the switch on the cord instead of the lamp. The lamp shade had some minor damage. Sending a lamp shade through the mail still seems to be a difficult task for many shippers. The damage was minor and I felt that returning it for another might not get a better result. I just hid the small defect by turning it towards the wall.

The shades had bends in them, the lamps kept falling over (way too light weight) and switch was on the cord. I sent them back after 2 days.

Purchased this lamp with the intention of using on an end table in my living room, but I found there just wasn't quite enough "light" and impact on the atmosphere/surroundings.

I decided to use this as a desk lamp as it works out really nice for an office environment. It's small enough to fit on a desk without being overwhelming and if you have bright lights this lamp provides a nice calming effect for tiring eyes. I just turn off my office lights and turn this lamp on and low light it for a while for my tiring eyes. :)

Also, if you were to use the lamp in your bedroom on a nightstand it would work out great! It should provide just enough ambiance needed as to me a bedroom is more for sleeping/relaxing! ;)

The lamp is is very sturdy was easy to put together, came with the bulb and I have no issues with it for what I am now using it for!

I would purchase again.

I bought this for my child's room as a night light and it is beautiful. I love this little lamp. I put a frosted bulb in it and there is enough light in the room to calm my child's nerves. The light is not over bearing at all. Great little lamp.
