The smaller lamp arrived a while ago but the taller lamp hasn't shipped yet. I opened the smaller lamp today to see how it would look in my living room. Until I put it together I thought it would look good. Unfortunately the shade is so cheaply made it looks terrible once I put the light on. The shade is poorly glued together. The seams are ragged and there is a big blotch in the shade that ruins the entire product that is very visible with the light turned on. I am very dissappointed in the poor quality of the shade because it could have been a nice set. i'm returning it.

This lamp is exactly what I wanted. I love the style and it has a nice shade. BUT the quality is lacking. The bronze finish was not applied uniformly on the lamp base. There are places that are very rough and appear to have rust. The bottom is a disaster. There is a "felt" bottom you can put on but it is SO thin it's not going to help. The bottom edge of the lamp base is incredibly sharp so without a good bottom on it, it will ruin my furniture. The felt they sent is sooo thin and it's not cut to size so it won't cover the whole base. I planned to return it, but realized today I have missed the deadline. This is very solidly put together, and also looks very nice. We are quite satisfied with the lamp; shipment was timely and aside from unwrapping all the protective packing, it was easy to set up.
