I hunted for a long time looking for lamps that weren't ceramic. One of my dogs broke both of my table lamps so I didn't want to spend a lot on new ones. I found these and ordered them. They came fast and I love them. They look really nice at night and produce a nice soft light. The shades are really different. Very, very happy with this purchase!

Even though the lamps aren't heavy duty materials, they look expensive. I'm very pleased and would recommend them to everyone. The shades are very dark, ( like a black shade), so unless your close, it's not a bright light to read by, however they look good at night.
