This looks like it could be a lovely lamp but the packaging was a NIGHTMARE to deal with and assembly was, ultimately, impossible. It took almost 30 minutes to pry the parts from the styrofoam and the process made a mess of out living room. It'd be best to unpack this at a landfill. Recyclable content about 20%. The tape, plastic wrap and styrofoam will fill a trash can.
Each upright is three pieces that screw together then to the base with wire through each piece and a connection to wire coming from the base. The wire was more than could be hidden within the uprights so we couldn't get all the pieces screwed together.

With 3 100 watt bulbs this lamp will light most living rooms. We have an open timber style home and this lamp is wonderful. It has a foot switch that is a slider where you can dim the light. The bronze finish is excellent. My only issue is it was a little difficult to assemble. Hopefully you'll only have to put it together once, so not a huge issue.
