The lamp was packed very well, and arrived (via transatlantic air shipment) in perfect condition. It's a beautiful lamp, but be aware it's not a tiny little end-table lamp; this one has some height and heft to it. Allow plenty of room for yours; the shade is proportional to the lamp.
