I love the lamp. Very heavy duty that looks just great. Wish I could tell you it works well, but having ordered TWO of these, neither can be used because BOTH were delivered weeks apart, and both without the shade. Contacted amazon. All they could do was offer me a partial refund to purchase my own lamp shade, or process it as a total return/refund. You can't be kidding? One time might be a fluke due to Christmas season shipping snafus. But two out of two? Amazon needs to figure out their problem and fix it, not offer partial refunds to get your own shade. Do buy this lamp because it's well made and looks great. Don't buy it from amazon.

This lamp arrived in a timely manner and was very well packaged. I was able to put it together myself and I'm not very handy. The lamp is extremely sturdy and quite beautiful. I like that there are options for the strength of the bulb. I needed a reading lamp and this fits the bill.It swivels and looks sharp. Has a heavy base.
It went together in about ten minutes easily.
