The color is is actually yellow with a matte finish. We requested a replacement because we assumed the one we received was defective. But, the replacement was exactly the same. This was a very annoying waste of time since the description was inaccurate.The base is definitely more creamy, not bright white. Shade is white though. A little shorter than I might have liked, but it looks just fine.
