Beautiful item though the color is much lighter than depicted -it's a light peach.

the bulb was broken when arrived. the bulb sits in a whole in the bottom of the bowl (top of bulb above the bottom of bowl) and the balls will sit down in it. So long as you are very careful and put them all around the outside and the one on top like in the picture they will not touch/hit the light. But then that makes it uneasy to use them .. So when I get a chance to go get a bulb and try the light I can let you know more. Very pretty in picture , not bad in reality, more decoration then usable for massage. I think it will be nice when lit and will see if I can fix it so bulb is protected. But I do not feel I should have to. Also seemed a little long to get it.I got the other lamp way before this one. I do love the salt lamps and am thinking about getting a stone for cooking/serving on.

Could not wait til I got it because they work really well when hot. My co-worker has one in her office and looks great. The one I got had 2 broken balls, discolored balls, not 1 matched. The one my co-worker has, all 6 balls match in color and the bowl is cut to a nice shape. The one I got, has no cut, just a round discolored bowl that doesn't even match the balls. Don't waste your money on this, spend a little more and get a name brand salt lamp fire bowl. Really wanted this bowl, does a great job on muscles when hot... Hope this helps and keeps you from buying one.

Great crystal lamp with many many therapeutic effects.
