l purchased these bulbs in advanced of the federal government mandated ban on incandescent in 2014. I have found the florescent types to be unreliable and have had two explode. GE makes a great bulb and I will continue to purchase these bulbs until they go off the market

Hard to find standard 75 watt bulbs these days. Thanks to amzon I got these 75 watt incandecent bulbs in a pack of 48. The package arrrived in just a couple of days and there wasn't a broken bulb in the lot. If you're looking for standard light bulbs, I would highly recommend these.

I don't like the light that comes off the new "energy saving" bulbs. I don't remember having a choice to have to change all my bulbs and fixtures in the near future. Is this still America?
