The lamp goes perfectly in our 1870's home. It is not bright enough to light up a room , but it is charming to see during the day and it illuminates our foyer nicely at night with an authentic colonial look.
The included light bulb and holder gives it a real 'candle' type feel adding to the ambiance.
I have had people compliment me on it and people ask if it was a retrofitted antique.
