Although I like the look of these lamps, which I ordered a year ago, both of them have fallen apart. The part where the top screws into the base became stripped on both lamps, rendering them useless. We had to throw them away, basically throwing away $200 dollars. We are using these lamps bedside. They have a lovely balance and are perfect for reading in bed. We had a good experience with the seller.
