My grandparents got their kitchen remodeled two years or so ago and three out of the four of their light fixtures have these bulbs (totaling 6 bulbs). The ones in the store were really expensive so I found these online and we decided to go for it. We were slightly skeptical (more so my grandparents) when buying these bulbs because they are much lower in price than we expected to find but they have been great so far. They came faster than expected and the box was not all beaten to pieces either. Our light fixture has a max of 50 watts. These bulbs are a lot brighter than our old bulbs (Which were somewhere around 30 watts).

They seem to be doing fine so far, although they do have a slight hint of pink light that comes out of the back, but you can only see it if you look closely at the light fixture. Its not really a big issue. I only mention it because at first we thought there was something on the globes surrounding the bulbs, but the pink shade is actually from the rear of the light. It disappears when the lights are turned off and people have only noticed after we pointed it out. Next time we need to buy bulbs this will be the first place we look.

I will hopefully update on the lifespan of the bulbs sometime in the future after we see how long they last.

*Edit* It is 12/31/2011 almost two years from the date they were purchased. I haven't really kept track of the bulb life as we have three different fixtures totaling 6 bulbs. But so far I think we have only replaced one of the new bulbs once. I would estimate we got about a year or more of use with it being used daily for many hours in the kitchen. I would say they have lived up to or exceeded our expectations, especially at such a great price.

These are much less expensive than local Home Depot or Lowes. Shipping was super fast & arrived in perfect condition. I only tried 1 bulb so far & it worked. Seems as bright as the same wattage bulbs that came with my light fixture. No obvious difference in color. These bulbs are not transparent on the sides so it only shines forward, where my current bulbs are, so they also illuminate the glass globe around it. Not a problem reallyi can always replace them all at once since this is a 12 pak.

I priced these out everywhere else and this was the cheapest. I had my doubts but they seem to be working out just fine. Delivery was way faster than expected, they are mailed using usps but I received them in about 5-6 days.

These are the first GU10 bulbs I've found that are both inexpensive and have a good lifespan. I've tried a bunch of brands, and these are the ones I am stocking up on. The price here on amazon is fine for a single box, but if you're stocking up you'll want the flat-rate shipping offered directly at cbconcept.

The bulbs I received have an angle of 30 degrees. CBConcept also makes a 20-degree option as well 20W and 35W models.

One of the lot did not work... rest seem to be going strong.... Pricing these at hardware stores are insane.
