I bought two of these lights to hang on top of our sink in the kitchen. I had a contractor install them so I can't comment on the installation.For such a expensive product, it does look a bit cheaply made. The wire that it hangs from is never perfectly straight. In fact when we first put it up it was rather crooked. The contractor told us, it should straighten out with gravity pulling on it, and it did some what, but it doesn't have that perfectly straight drop down feeling.
The frosted glass shade is very thin.
It was kind of too much bother to take them out, repackage them and return, so I will leave them up for a bit, but not impressed with the item for the price.
