I really love the light. I would suggest using a clear bulb that is less than 40 watts. The frosted bulb shows the outline of the bulb.
I was a little unhappy with the glass fixture when I inspected it. It seems to be dirty and I could not get it clean. It looks streaked and if you scrub too much you will take the red off. When you put the lamp together and turn the light on you really can't see the streaks. If the lamp is upclose, you might notice it.
