I have this lamp in my home-office. It has an elegant antique brass finish, and a nice "oatmeal" colored woven-pattern shade. It looks like it belongs in an upscale private library, or on a nice big desk. I'm very happy with it.We ordered two of these lamps. They each came from a different source. One lamp arrived damaged and the other was defective. Very disappointed.
