This is fabulous as a "lighted sculpture," or accent piece. However, it doesn't give off much ambient light (not something to read by). That is why I gave it only four stars. If you are prepared for its limitations in light production, I think that you will enjoy its uniqueness. The on/off switch is on the cord and could have been of better quality.
